LAVARING, Alviena “Alvie” (formerly Christensen, nee Smith). Aged 92 years. Formally of Mt. Perry. Passed away peacefully at Gracehaven Nursing Home on February 23, 2016. Beloved wife of Rordon Lavaring (deceased) and Owen Christensen (deceased). Dearly cherished mother and mother-in-law of Rex and Karen Christensen, Glenda and Kelvin McIntyre, Peter and Narelle Christensen. Adored grandma of Donna, Grant and Leanne, Larissa and Colin, Scott and Felicity, Lisa and Mark, Cameron and Samantha, and great-grandma to 11 great-grandchildren. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Ethel and Eric Hunt, Cleve (deceased) and Marj Smith, and Robert Smith (deceased), and loved aunty of their respective families.

Relatives and friends of the late Alvie Lavaring are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held at the Chapel of Des Allen & Co. Funerals, 22 Toonburra Street FRIDAY March 4, 2016 at 10.00am prior to Interment at Mt. Perry General Cemetery.
